Meme: Haiku
Oct. 9th, 2008 10:58 pmRight, this isn't exactly a meme, I suppose, because I'm initiating it, but I saw
jen_anomaly's posting of a plug-in-the-username-and-click meme, and one of its results involves demanding haikus written.
And, yes, I want to write haiku. So, here, I makes me a meme.
Comment, and my muse/pup will respond with a haiku about your muse/pup. If you want to get really cute with it, your pup/muse could then respond to said haiku with a tanka finish (two lines of 7 syllables) and then their own haiku. Or just the tanka end lines, either way.
I am not guaranteeing you will get *good* poetry, here. Or fast poetry. But, what the hey, poetry crack. And in true Court-era Japan poetry-game style, too! Lovers used to write poems in two pieces like this, 3 lines responded to with 2, etc. It's very Pillow Book.
