As there's a bandwagon, and those suckers are magnetic, with gravitational force nigh onto a none-more-black hole, here I am, posting.

I WANT YOUR IDEAS AND YOUR FIRST-BORN CHILDREN.

Or just your ideas. Children are too much work.

Or some gummi penguins, wrapped in ideas.

Seriously, ideas. For any of my muses, any non-muses, whatevah.

Also, if I started up a prompt community based around something like "write a haiku based on this prompt and other people can write the two-line tanka response to your haiku accompanied by a fic-bit inspired by the resulting poem, if they want" or some such, would anyone be interested? I like haiku. I dunno why, it coalesces a little idea down and then you can blow it back up into a big idea, it's kinda neat. I also like the idea of the Heian-period poetry exchange, with poety-and-response. This one I have no explanation for except a passing Japanophile period a few years ago.

I dunno I really don't have anything to offer except...

Yeah, that really doesn't help does it?

SORRY. D:

Pfft, I don't care if it helped, it made me snerk XD

As did the "Doctor's Girls." Heh, the Doctor and his harem.

Spike doesn't have any first-born children, he's not very sorry to say. However, even though his mun is hopeless regarding poetry, he'd probably join your haiku comm. He's a poet. Nobody ever said he was a good poet.

Regarding ideas... I'd be interested to see some TARDIS PoV fic on the time during/immediately after the rebuilt of either watch!Ten or the Magister from the fob watch. Idk if you count the TARDIS as one of your muses, though, so idk how helpful this is.

Bad haiku are...bad XD It's just an idea I have. I keep wanting to try a comm, so I can be a fiction enabler, and hopefully enable others, too.

Hrm. Well, the thing is, I don't see the TARDIS as so much a narrative *thinker*—in my fanon, she's more a *presence* then a definable sentience. Though I *have* written something for her remaking the Doctor (here), which I rather liked.

I think I want to write some stuff for human!Magister, not sure. He's having much fun with DI Tyler in the '70s recently.

Sounds interesting!

Also: I want something involving Castiel. B| Epic fan-poll of Cas vs. Ten has made me miss them... even though there wasn't a whole lot to miss... xD BUT YES.

XD I do like it when my Ten decides to randomly snark at people but *like them anyway.* Cas is fun. Poor puzzled enigmatic angel-fellow.

Indeed! He hasn't been having the best time with morality lately. That's what daddy gets for sending him to follow a morally grey pair of hunters. He gets to interact with humans! And, uh, Time Lords! And liking them despite their WTF pasts! Liberated fallen!angel-buddy said that angels have no real feelings -- I think this is a liiiiie.

... /ramble

Also, haiku is fun.

Ten thinks it is a lie, too—and because he is an interfering busybody goose, he will try to prove it. FOLLOW YOUR HEART, CASTIEL~! He'll sing showtunes for you, the Doctor will.

It is! I should write some, just for kicks, comm or not.

Haa! I need to post with him again somewhere. He hasn't been in any of the episodes since the hiatus in December (idk about this week; about to watch it now) so the muse has just been chillin' in the back of my head. I should really send his fallen!self out somewhere, too. *ponders this*

Man, I would so write prompt fan-haiku, so you have my vote for a comm of that sort. xD

He could meet the Magister, if he mucks around as his fallen!form. The Magister keeps mucking about being stuck as a human in the Life of Mars universe with [livejournal.com profile] out_of_my_time. They could commiserate about being human. And the Magister could very carefully not mention that he kills the odd serial murderer for a lark >_>

Well, then, I should make it! It sounds like there's in-favor votes. *plots to come up with rules*

Heee, sounds like fun. ;D I'm considering making a new journal for fallen!Cas, just to avoid any confusion, but yais -- that would be fun. I'm trying to work out his whole vessel-slash-angel-memories-whut-partial-insanity state atm.

The rules should be in haiku-form. Just... throwing that out there. xD

Date: 2009-02-06 05:18 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] cosmos-without.livejournal.com
Yeah, this is why the Magister has a different journal, 'cause...it gets too complicated, labeling 'verses and whatnot. Especially when you go off and AU an AU 9_9 Well, I'm thinking about making the Magister an OC--like, he's physically human, but he tells all of these stories about having been an alien (two aliens even!) once and acts all breezy/Time-Lord-crazy, and making it up in the air whether he's actually nuts or really was what he claims to have been. Which I'm guessing is where Castiel would end up, too--like, I have these memories, I feel like I'm missing something, but I don't have any proof that I'm anything other than what I am now. Am I mad or was I really someone else, once? And what do I do with a human life, when I've had what I maybe/partially/kind of remember having?

I ramble!

Yus. At least some of them, definitely XP

Date: 2009-02-06 05:28 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] caelitus.livejournal.com
Yeah! Exactly. I've already got some things worked out, and they involve him finding out bits and pieces of his vessel's life, which is his life, now; the things he has to become and 'reacquaint' himself with versus the things he thinks he is/was, as well as running into the things he was sent to deal with as an angel and all of it coming together and EXPLODING. Or... yeah. I think the discovery and the conflict are going to be fun.

Hee!

I still say he was a hobo :3

Date: 2009-02-06 05:35 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] caelitus.livejournal.com
That would explain everything! \o/

imo I think he was a single, depressed, religious dude with a dead-end desk job. Hence praying for God to use him to stop the apocalypse. xD

Yes. :C

Or he could've been married, to make it less boring, and people could be looking for him/find him and go "OMG!" and he'd be like "oh? D: /moar to be confused about". Maybe Cas wasn't too worried about mysterious holy kidnappings and went for it for THE SAKE OF CREATION. o/

*looks for Ace's lost arm*

"I haz a wife? O_o o_O ...Do I have to kiss her?" The wife: :| "Well, I won't bother to go looking for *you* when you mysteriously disappear, next time 9_9"

Ahahaha, I can just imagine the complications stemming from that. "Sometimes I think I'm not who I am."

"We call that being about two hours into your brother's Christmas party, dear."

"/frustration!"

"...Wait. Brother? What?" *augh, being human, relatives, this is so complicated. Someone get him a family tree*

I WOULD TOTALLY WRITE MINIMALIST JAPANESE POETRY ABOUT THE MASTER. IT WOULD BE AWESOME.

... I'm not entirely sure what that merited capslockery, but clearly I was just that enthused about it. I do enjoy writing haiku, actually.

And inspiration? I want to see a conversation between Gene and human!Magister. Any conversation at all, but just the two of them.

MINIMALIST POETRY IS FUN. IT AUTOMATICALLY SOUNDS DEEP! WOO~~~~~~

It is fun. It's a challenge, trying to find *just the right words.* Like a puzzle.

...And, yes, yes. I may indeed have to write that. Because now I want to see it, too. *bones up on British sexual/racial slurs*
